For crypto-native platforms, fintechs, and any developer building cross-border financial services, Bridge’s stablecoin-backed card programs just became more powerful. Bridge cards are now fully integrated with Stripe Issuing, bringing together our stablecoin infrastructure with Stripe's card issuance expertise that powers 350 million cards worldwide.
A richer card issuing experience
Bringing together the Bridge and Stripe card stacks unlocks a host of new features including physical cards, expanded country coverage, and advanced fraud tools backed by Stripe’s card transaction data representing over a trillion dollars in value.
- Physical cards: Developers can now issue physical cards (plastic or metal) with fully custom designs that reflect their brand, or standard cards, delivered in as little as two days. Card programs can be customized end-to-end and are easily managed in a single intuitive interface on the Stripe Dashboard.
- Commercial cards: Developers can launch a global commercial card program where each business customer gets their own Stripe Connect account and authorized users within that business can be issued cards that spend from a stablecoin wallet.
- Country expansion: Stablecoin-backed cards are now available in 30 countries with one integration, on track to reach 100+ by the end of 2026. Cards issued in available markets can be used with merchants anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide.
- Cardholder support: For teams that would rather not staff a customer support phone line, Stripe Support as a Service provides trained agents that can handle cardholder support on your behalf.
- Advanced card controls and fraud monitoring: Stripe’s industry-leading API infrastructure is built for both speed and reliability. Get built-in access to 3DS, advanced fraud models, and enriched transaction data, plus customizable spending limits and dispute management tools.
