Nine ways companies are using stablecoins and crypto to grow
This guide covers best practices for monetizing payments, different ways to experiment with pricing, and how Bridge can help.

Introduction
Commerce continues to expand globally, and businesses are discovering new tools to navigate the complexity involved. Stablecoins have emerged as a particularly useful solution, offering fast, low-cost, and programmable money movement with global accessibility. Unlike volatile cryptocurrencies, they maintain 1:1 parity with fiat currency, making them effective for accepting and disbursing payments across borders, managing corporate treasury, and offering financial services to a global user base.
While Stripe offers plug-and-play stablecoin and crypto solutions, Bridge is a global stablecoin orchestration platform and Privy provides infrastructure for wallets and digital asset management. Both are Stripe companies.
From enterprises such as Félix to platforms such as Airtm, companies tell us that stablecoins are solving practical, financial challenges by allowing them to increase revenue and build new products with global reach. We’ve seen this potential realized: stablecoin transaction volume on Stripe has grown almost 30% month over month in the first few months of 2025. This activity has only increased since then, as more and more businesses are using stablecoins and crypto through Stripe, Bridge, and Privy to build borderless financial solutions that allow them to reach new customers.
01 Shadeform
Shadeform is a GPU cloud marketplace built to help AI developers quickly find and deploy GPU compute across multiple providers.
“Stripe has been crucial in helping us validate our business model and focus on growing the business instead of iterating on payments processing. And with stablecoins, we hit the sweet spot: they’re cheaper than credit cards, can be used by everyone around the globe, and settle much faster than ACH and wire.”
Ronald Ding
Cofounder and CTO, Shadeform
As it scaled, Shadeform wanted to provide more flexibility in the way users could pay. Because ACH only works with US bank accounts, ACH wasn’t a viable option for high-volume users in Europe and Asia; meanwhile, credit cards often meant limited transaction sizes, high processing fees, and potential declines. Customers began asking for the ability to pay using cryptocurrency, but Shadeform was hesitant due to concerns about the complexity of accepting and managing crypto in a wallet or converting crypto into fiat to pay providers.
Solution
A few weeks after Shadeform launched its GPU cloud marketplace, the company integrated Stripe Payments so customers could transact directly with Shadeform instead of paying each GPU cloud provider separately. Shadeform began accepting USDC by simply switching on the stablecoin and crypto payment method in Payments, saving the company the weeks it would have taken to set up its own crypto wallet and integrate it into payment processing workflows.
Since enabling USDC payments, Shadeform became a viable option for high-volume customers in Europe and Asia who couldn’t use ACH or struggled with international card limitations, leading to a 10% revenue increase after implementation. Stablecoin payments now account for almost 20% of Shadeform’s payment volume.
Shadeform pays 1.5% to accept stablecoins for transactions, compared to 4.5% for international credit cards. With most of its stablecoin payments coming from customers overseas, Shadeform saves about 66% when customers pay using stablecoins.
02 Félix
Félix is a fintech platform that enables people in the US to send money abroad quickly and safely. By using stablecoins to reduce foreign exchange (FX) costs and operational inefficiencies, Félix offers faster and more favorable rates than traditional remittance companies.
“It was a no-brainer to partner with Stripe. Their leading payment processing is pushing the boundaries on auth rates for us at ~90%, and their stablecoin offering through Bridge is helping us save costs, settle faster, and serve more countries as we’re rapidly expanding.”
Hugo Rodriguez
Associate Director of Fintech and Payments, Félix Pago
The company needed to enhance its payments infrastructure to support various US payment methods while efficiently remitting funds to different countries and currencies. Compliance with money transmitter regulations required a complex multiparty setup, adding layers of complexity to its operations. Finally, as it expanded, Félix needed a solution that could scale with its AI-driven platform, processing increasing transaction volumes without compromising the speed and efficiency that stablecoins provided.
Solution
For currency conversion and liquidity management, Félix uses Bridge, a Stripe company, to offer stablecoins in its transactions. Bridge’s infrastructure ensures USDC and USD liquidity to process transactions. This approach helps Félix minimize transaction costs while still achieving high transaction speeds across borders.
Félix plans to continue using stablecoins to keep costs low, transaction speed high, and access wide—enabling it to reach even the most hard-to-reach markets. The company is opening new corridors, such as Nicaragua, Peru, and Ecuador, using stablecoins to avoid high FX costs and enable faster settlement.
03 Meow
Meow is a rapidly growing US-based business banking fintech that offers startups and high-growth companies high-interest checking accounts, high cash-back cards, low-fee invoicing, and all the financial products startups need to operate at the most affordable price possible.
“Bridge easily met our technical requirements for a stablecoin partner, but more importantly, they were the kind of partner we knew we needed to work with: a high-slope team that understood our vision and could move fast enough to help us achieve it. Bridge understood the opportunity immediately and went above and beyond to help us roll out this capability in less than a month. We were first to market, but this is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing to partner with Bridge as we keep on building.”
Brandon Arvanaghi
CEO and Founder, Meow
Meow identified an opportunity to enable its customers—which include both traditional and crypto-native businesses—to send and receive USDC as easily as fiat currency, with no transaction fees. To achieve this, Meow needed a stablecoin solution that could deliver seamless account onboarding, direct access to USDC liquidity, smooth integration into customers’ existing financial stacks, and ultra-low transaction costs.
Solution
Meow used Bridge’s Orchestration API to integrate stablecoins payments into its unified platform. With Bridge, Meow businesses can send and receive USDC from their existing cash balance, eliminating the need to open and manage a separate account at a crypto exchange.
Businesses can also programmatically send USDC from within Meow and generate unique addresses on Ethereum and Solana to collect invoice payments. That means businesses can accept vendor payments via wire or standard bank rails, such as ACH, and the business can receive that money in USDC without having to expose address details publicly.
This allows businesses to perform routine accounting tasks more quickly and with less hassle than before. With Bridge, Meow businesses can reduce the time required to close their books from hours to minutes. And by automatically processing crypto invoices, Bridge enables Meow businesses to achieve same-day financial reconciliations.
*Meow Technologies is a financial technology company, not a bank or FDIC-insured depository institution. Banking services are provided by partner banks, which are FDIC-insured. Interest-bearing accounts and investment services, such as access to T-bills, are provided through licensed third parties. Stablecoin usage, including USDC, may involve risks. 04 Airtm
Airtm is a digital assets platform used by 1.8 million users for international payments.
“At Airtm, we are dedicated to empowering aid and gig platforms by providing innovative payment infrastructure that leverages the ‘disconnected dollar.’ Together with partners like Bridge and others, we’ve built an entirely new system that enables realtime stablecoin-based payouts to thousands of end users, helping them navigate volatile currencies and connect to the global economy.”
Rubén Galindo Steckel
CEO, Airtm
Originally a consumer platform, Airtm was looking to introduce a payment offering to employers in the US and Europe to help them pay their global and distributed workforce across borders. Airtm also wanted to offer more than just access to funds—it wanted to enable workers to spend their funds internationally, without high FX costs.
Airtm needed an API-first platform that could integrate seamlessly with its existing wallet, enable stablecoin funding and spending with USDC, and scale with its business.
Solution
Bridge brings all of these elements together in one platform: an API-first integration, seamless USDC orchestration, card issuance, compliance infrastructure, and scalable program management.
With Bridge’s Orchestration API, Airtm can create Virtual Accounts for workers, each with a unique account and routing number. Bridge converts incoming USD payroll payments to USDC, a fully reserved digital dollar, and sends payments to recipients’ Airtm wallets via Stellar’s public blockchain.
Then, Airtm used Bridge to seamlessly connect those USDC balances to a global Visa card, giving its users instant access to spend online. Apple Pay and Google Pay provisioning make the card easy to use in everyday life, while detailed transaction history and the ability to freeze cards provide transparency and control. In the first 3 months, Airtm’s card program saw $2 million in spending volume, 25,000 cards created, and more than 30,000 transactions completed.
05 Cenoa
Built on blockchain technology, Cenoa gives solopreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses access to stable, global financial infrastructure.
“We’ve talked with more than 100 partners across banking, payments, and crypto infrastructure. By far, the Bridge team has been the most reliable, responsive, and professional we’ve worked with. They are open to feedback, and the tech they’ve built works very well. They are a world-class team with world-class infrastructure.”
Emre Ertan
Cofounder and Co-CEO, Cenoa
From day one, Cenoa’s goal was to build a new type of global financial platform that would help emerging market entrepreneurs overcome several key challenges: lack of access to global banking infrastructure, high transaction costs, and unreliable and opaque systems. To fulfill its mission, Cenoa needed a partner that could deliver stablecoin-native infrastructure, seamless fiat integration, and the ability to open thousands of compliant accounts without requiring Cenoa to become a licensed financial institution.
Solution
After evaluating several providers, Cenoa chose Bridge for its stablecoin-native architecture, global-first approach, and executional readiness to support a financial platform of this scale. Cenoa uses Bridge’s Virtual Account API to instantly issue virtual USD accounts to users across emerging markets like Turkey, Nigeria, and Mexico. When funds are deposited, they’re automatically converted to USDC and routed to users’ wallets, giving users immediate, reliable access to stable digital dollars while bypassing the delays, FX markups, and restrictions of legacy banking. Compared to providers like PayPal, Wise, and SWIFT, Cenoa delivers up to 10x lower overall costs with 80% lower cross-border payment fees, helping users keep more of what they earn.
Within 9 months of launching its virtual USD accounts, Cenoa onboarded more than 50,000 small- to medium-sized businesses and solopreneurs in Turkey and Nigeria, saw 50x transaction volume growth, and processed over $10 million in monthly volume.
06 Magic Eden
Magic Eden is a platform that allows users across thousands of digital communities to create, discover, and collect unique NFTs, empowering the next generation of digital creators.
“Stripe’s onramp product is the easiest, quickest, and most seamless integration for customers to get up and running. When the process is simple, easy, and familiar, the barrier to entry is lowered immensely—and the more barriers you remove, the greater your growth.”
Nick Lagusis
Former Product Marketing Lead, Magic Eden
Magic Eden wanted to create the most accessible and comprehensive Web3 experience. To do so, it had to overcome the fact that crypto payments require transacting in currencies that are confusing for many people. This led to situations where customers didn’t have enough crypto to purchase an NFT on the platform, or didn’t know how to get started with crypto transactions in general. To bridge the gap between fiat and crypto, Magic Eden needed to create a robust, reliable, secure, and user-friendly experience for getting its growing user base on chain.
Solution
Magic Eden used Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto onramp to enable NFT purchases with a customizable widget that embeds directly into its platform. The crypto onramp handles all Know Your Customer (KYC), payments, fraud, and compliance, while Link—Stripe’s accelerated checkout solution—enables faster checkout via credit card, debit card, and bank accounts with instant crypto delivery.
With Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto onramp, Magic Eden has been able to retain and add customers, and increase revenue. Now, returning customers have an average end-to-end conversion rate of 72%. And by facilitating fair, transparent costs to Magic Eden’s users, Stripe has helped the platform lay the foundation for long-term customer relationships. Returning customers are important to the company’s growth, and now 90% of customers that come back to Magic Eden return in an average of 17 days to use the onramp for new crypto purchases.
07 Nook
Nook is a savings app that taps into the crypto market to help everyday savers earn more on their money.
“Privy made it really easy to get things off the ground. Between managing smart wallets, embedded wallets, excellent docs, and responsive support, it’s been straightforward to use, and helped us get our product live quickly.”
Sohail Khanifar
Cofounder and CPO, Nook
Through partnerships with Coinbase and trusted DeFi protocols, Nook makes it possible for anyone to deposit cash, convert it into stablecoins like USDC, and earn yields as high as 10%–15%, all from a clean, beginner-friendly, and mobile-first interface. Behind the scenes, every loan is fully collateralized. Borrowers put up valuable crypto assets, and if they fail to repay or their collateral falls in value, it’s liquidated to protect lenders. The result is simple: users earn higher yield on stablecoin deposits with stronger transparency than in most traditional accounts, without having to touch or interact with complex DeFi tools themselves.
Solution
Privy powers the wallet layer that makes Nook possible. Every Nook user is provisioned with a self-custodial wallet at sign-up, embedded directly into the app.
Privy handles:
• Secure wallet creation and key management at scale
• Seamless deposits and withdrawals, integrated with Coinbase
• Account recovery features, giving users confidence their savings are safe
By relying on Privy, Nook can focus on building a best-in-class savings product while offering users real yield with institutional grade security.
08 Toku
Toku helps employees and contractors across 150+ countries get paid on stablecoin rails.
With a traditional cross-border employee payroll funds flow on fiat rails, recipients lose out on around 5% of their paycheck value and get paid around 1 week later than they need to. Given many contractors live paycheck to paycheck, this payroll cost and speed inefficiencies lead to some serious life trade-offs for millions of recipients.
Solution
With Privy, anyone with an email address can get paid onchain via Toku, with the right withholding taxes paid, and Privy integrates with traditional payroll companies like ADP, Workday, and Rippling.
Since the majority of global contractors don’t have existing crypto wallets, Toku leverages Privy to provision user-controlled wallets under the hood to receive payments. All of the crypto interactions are completely behind the scenes, presented as dollardenominated value. This is particularly valuable, given recipients in countries with unstable currencies often prefer to get paid in dollars, and offramp to their local fiat bank accounts when they’re ready to spend the balance.
09 Moreta
Moreta simplifies payments for international travelers, allowing them to pay merchants abroad using QR codes.
“We chose Privy to power secure, real-time onchain global money movement so cross-border QR payments could feel effortless. Their infrastructure lets us focus on crafting the seamless experiences travelers love.”
Sam Yu
Cofounder and CTO, Moreta
With stablecoin rails under the hood, Moreta lets travelers instantly fund a spending account that works across borders from day one. All it takes is a phone to tap into local payment networks, without needing a bank account in every country. In Southeast Asian countries like the Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia, where QR-based wallets are a dominant payment method, Moreta bridges the gap for travelers from card-first markets like the US, UK, and EU.
Solution
Moreta integrated Privy to embed secure, programmatic wallets into its backend. This setup enables the company to implement stablecoin-backed payment flows without requiring users to have any crypto knowledge. While each user receives a smart wallet protected by Privy, funds are ultimately swept into a Moreta-controlled payment wallet, from which merchant payouts are executed. With this setup, Privy gives Moreta the infrastructure to manage wallets, enable gasless transactions, and support stablecoin-backed credits. This abstracts away any crypto complexity, and delivers a seamless consumer-grade user experience.
